so, to those of you who were wondering about my last post (which judging by the zero comments, seems to be no one), no, i haven't suddenly become the world's biggest rodney dangerfield fan, fact is, i'm going back to school. it's official now, becuase i got my schedule approved to be switching to part time at work starting in a couple of weeks.

I think that's amazing, Brett! Of course I wasn't gone for that long, but 2000 to 2005 was long enough to make me nervous about going back and give me a few complexes. Fortunately, w/ a semester behind me... I feel much more assured and confident in my ability and where I'm headed. Did you say you're going to get a degree in Cultural Anthropology, or just taking a class... just wanted to clarify. Not that this affects you or does anything for you, but my best friend Kate from high school got her BA in Anthropology and Human Evolution and her MA in Medieval Archaeology. I don't know what you're planning to do w/ this, but I'm still superexcited for you. It took me this long to come back and do well and focus... for me it was for the "right" reasons. I hope it is for you.

p.s. I didn't see your last entry... but there was a few days where I wasn't able to check lj and then going back a thousand pages was ridiculous... sorry, hon
