I highly recomend "A Very Long Engagement." Its kinda one of those movies that you could take a date to, but certainly not a chick flick. The only aspect that your fine female compainion might not like is the fact that alot is set in the trenches of WW1, and it shows the vivid parts of the war. (Most certainly not the fun parts.) well not all of the conspiritors - but the whole reason they were trying to blow up parliment was because being catholic in england meant you couldnt do anything- the landed or the peasant- you coudllnt sit in parliment in the house of lords unless you converted to anglican- you lost your lands yoour freedom a lot of times -

Yeah, I remember seeing a History Channel special on it, but Wikipedia is alot easier to cut and paste when I got so much junk to do. When I have more time I like to edit it a bit...

heh you 2- i have choir festival tuesday- and about a ton of papers and homework to get done-

i just always have this urge to point out that the cathoic church wasnt always the bad guy on these inqusition bits and the protestant reformation-- i think its the ocd coming out- anyway good luck with your studies this week- thanksgiving cant be here soon enough- except when it comes to turning in projects that are due by then
