I'm still sick. Possibly sicker than I was before. And I have a migraine on top of it. I hate today. A lot. Granted, it's my own fault that I stayed up late to watch WrestleMania and then even later to RP for a bit. But...oh well...

1. Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero: This was not the match I wanted it to be. It was good. I enjoyed it. But it was not the greatness that I was hoping for. That could be because Eddie almost dropped Rey directly on his head. Twice. I think maybe they've both forgotten that they aren't in their twenties anymore. Regardless, I felt like Rey put on one hell of a show in spite of the fact that his mask kept sliding off. Costume malfunction, much? Rey won and I LOVED that. I like Eddie. I really, really do. But I honestly believe that Rey is the better wrestler. I was a bit disappointed that Eddie didn't turn heel. But maybe that'll happen eventually. We'll just have to wait and see.

2. 6 Man Ladder Match: I literally sat in awe for the majority of this match. Shelton Benjamin is a wrestling GOD, for real. I couldn't have been more impressed. When he gave the T-Bone to Edge off of the ladder I lost my mind. Everyone had some awesome high-flying spots. Even Kane, which was pretty impressive. In the end, Edge won, which didn't surprise me. I called that weeks ago. Overall, I think this match would have been better if Matt Hardy had been in it in place of Kane...but that wasn't to be. My three biggest concerns when this match was over were: Did Shelton break his ankle or dislocate his hip because DAMN when he got caught up in the top rope and just hung there it looked BAD! Did Chris Jericho suffer any permanent brain damage after falling straight on his head from 10 feet up thanks to Shelton? And is Chris Benoit's shoulder dislocated because that man was SCREAMING and BITING THE RING APRON. Ouch!

3. Undertaker vs. Randy Orton: Best. Match. Of. The. Night. Period. Anyone who disagrees with me can just keep their opinion to themselves because no one will change my mind. I was SO SO SO impressed with this match. Just like everyone else, I wasn't expecting much. I love Taker. And he's a legend. But he's also pretty slow in the ring and I just didn't think him and Randy could deliver something that would look awesome. I was wrong. So wrong. Randy proved just how amazing he is going to be for the business and Taker showed all the doubters that he's still got it. Amazing. Absolutely Amazing. I loved every second of it, especially the end. YAY for Taker still being undefeated at Mania!

4. Eugene came down to the ring. It was good to see him. I've missed that character big time. Hassan & Daivari came down next and did their whole "We're Arab Americans and everyone hates us" routine before proceeding to beat the shit out of Eugene. And then, in the moment to end all moments, HULK HOGAN'S music hit and he took those boys to SCHOOL!! I flipped. Screamed my ever loving head off. What an amazing way for him to go out! I felt like I was seven years old all over again watching him. I cannot say enough how happy it made me to see that. Awesome!

5. Christy Hemme vs. Trish Stratus: The power went out about 30 seconds into this match. I don't think I missed a whole lot. Trish kept the belt. Thank God.

6. Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle: I missed a good deal of this match as well thanks to the whole power outage. Which sucks because I think that really affected how I felt about it. Since I didn't get to see it from the start, I found myself unable to really get into it. This match did for me what Eddie vs. Rey did. It was a good match. Angle and Michaels are amazing athletes. But it wasn't what I wanted. From a technical wrestling standpoint, it couldn't have been better. These two men really WRESTLED. But I was sad that they didn't put on more of a show. And I was also sad that Kurt Angle made Shawn tap out to the ankle lock. *shrug* Maybe when I buy the DVD and rewatch this match it will do more for me.

7. Piper's Pit with Stone Cold Steve Austin: Everything I was expecting and then some. NO ONE is better on the mic than Hot Rod. NO ONE. But Austin is a real close second. I don't know whose dick Carlito sucked to be in the same ring with those two...but I hope to God he realizes what an honor that was. From the start, I said no matter who ended up in the ring their would be Stunners delivered all around. And there was. Damn, I miss Stone Cold. And, just like with Hogan, I felt like a little kid again watching Piper. Back when wrestling was still REAL to me. Back before the internet and knowing so much and, admittedly, being a "smart" fan. Damn, I miss those days.

8. Big Show vs. Akebono: I took a bathroom break here. Came out to see Big Show in an actual sumo diaper thing. Nearly got sick all over the place. Akebono won. Why was this match on Mania?

9. JBL vs. Cena: I was chanting boring at the screen. MAJOR disappointment. And you could tell that the crowd wasn't into this one, either. And that's a shame since it was for the championship belt. Fans are supposed to be enraptured by the BIG matches. And this was supposed to be a big match. It wasn't. It didn't deliver. My dad actually cheered when it was over...just because it was over. Cena won. Thank God for that. I hope he's a better champ than JBL was.

10. HHH vs. Batista: I'd been excited about this since Day One. I'm a huge Batista fan and, as much as I dislike HHH, I can't deny that he always delivers when he needs to. Last night was no different. THIS was everything a championship match was supposed to be. Batista brought his A Game and HHH really impressed me with the way he put him over. I couldn't have asked for more. The false finishes about killed me. Every time HHH almost got the three count I was freaking out. Cursing at the television. Swearing I would NEVER watch Raw again if he retained the title. But then Batista gave HHH that Batista Bomb from HELL and all my prayers were answered! We have a new world heavyweight champion!! HELL YEAH BABY!!!

Overall, I certainly wasn't disappointed with Mania. There were a few slow spots but it can't always be outstanding. I'll definitely be picking up the DVD of this one.
