May Actually Have the Weekend off from the Clinic

Another free day away from the clinic. I had blood work drawn at 8 AM and my platelet count had gone up to 20 which is the highest is has been in months. Even when they have given me a unit of platelets they have not been up that high. This is Good! Even though we all know you're a fighter, and that being such a fit and healthy person would make your recovery a little easier than most people, your speedy recovery is amazing us all!

All of this is really such good news!

Now, when I'm not on some weird crazy shifts that don't mess with our time zones, I'd like to call you... are you happy to e-mail me your home and/or mobile number(s)?

One of the annoying things is my right foot. Somehow while in the ICU (Intensive care unit) I did some damage to the nerve on the right side of my right knee which has caused "Drop Food" The neurologist said that it should repair itself but it may take several months. I certainly hope so, BTW my number is 913 481 3456 that is my mobile phone and unlike your mobile phones it cost the same to call a mobile phone as a land line Hope you are doing well.
