Was nice to finally meet mrdreamjeans

It I a nice spring day here in Kansas City. mrdreamjeans arrived to the house before noon and we chatted here for a while then went to lunch. He is now heading north on I-35 to Minneapolis. I wished he could have stayed longer as I would have enjoyed taking him around KC. It has changed a lot since he was last here.

How totally cool that you got to meet Neil, albeit briefly. Have you two ever met before?

And I think it's awesome that you have a robin nesting literally on your front door.. I want to attract more parrots to our balcony - as there's always lorikeets and sulphur-crested cockatoos flying around... :-)

There were several times when we could have meant and one of those time he was on his way back to Minneapolis and thought it was too late to bother me. It was only about 10:15 PM so he stayed in a motel that happened to be very closet to my house. He didn't know at the time that the motel was so close to my home. I hope that the robin decides to lay eggs in the nest. I have had this happen 2 other times. We will see.

It was great having the opportunity to finally meet you! I would have enjoyed seeing the sites with a informed guide such as yourself! I drove through downtown and you're correct. The new performing arts center is stunning, though under construction. It will be a wonderful place to play!

The traffic was really delayed as I 35 went over the Missouri River. It went down to one lane and kept switching between one and the other. They're rebuilding the bridge, expanding it. Despite that ... and a stop around 5 PM because I got really sleepy ... I made it to Minneapolis and my apartment at 8:30 PM!
