The waters are starting to recede in Lowell. On my way home tonight most of Pawtucket Blvd (which runs next to the river) was open again.

I feel bad for complaining.

I don't watch the news, didn't watch it all weekend since I had my family over.

So I had no idea people lost their homes, etc.

Small bother to me, driving a few hours, when others lost everything they had.

I feel like a jerk now for complaining.

Eh, complain if it helps. I find that I'm a little tired of people writing in their LJ that "you shouldn't complain if there are people worse off than you." I gripe in my journal because if I don't let off some steam, there are some days that I think I'll explode. You -> not a jerk.

Hugs!

Oh, hey, are you going to take classes at U Mass Lowell? Cause you're more than welcome to stop by when you're in town. =)

Just needed to go to Lowell to pick up transcripts. I now have to race my application and transcripts over to UMASS before the 1st of June in order to apply for the UWW program.

We live way to far out to take classes at Lowell (it's a good hour and a half drive). We're in the 5-college area in Western Mass now, so we are taking courses out here.

We'll probably run into each other during Faire season :-)
