Requested by tehuberfangirl from my last batch

Problem is, I didn't save the PSD and I even deleted the base I used by error *facepalm*

So I picked another pic and played with it....hope this is the result she's looking for XD It's hard to get since the result changes from pic to pic and this should be just a guideline.

From
to

Program: Photoshop CS2
Includes: Selective colors and Curves

THIS is my base from All Hell Breaks Loose

this is my base cropped 100x100

Duplicate the base, then Filter >> Sharpen >> Smart Sharpen
Amount: 15%
Radius: 11,1 pixels
Remove: Lens Blur
More accurate  is selected

Play with the layer opacity as you like.

Layers >> New Adjustment layer >> Curves
RGB: 1st point: 6, 47 // 2nd point: 83, 182

Lower the opacity to 75%

Layers >> New Adjustment layer >> Selective Color
R: -50, 22, -2, 7
Y: -12, 17, 21, 3
W: 1, 5, 16, 15
N: 9, 1, 4, 5
Lower the opacity between 40 and 50%

Layers >> New Fill Layer >> Solid Color >> #fbefde to Color Burn

Layers >> New Adjustment layer >> Hue/Saturation
Master: 0, 11, 5
Lower the opacity to 50%

Layers >> New Fill Layer >> Solid Color >> #e4e4e3 to Color Burn 77%

Layers >> New Fill Layer >> Solid Color >> #04000d to Exclusion

Layers >> New Adjustment layer >> Brightness/Contrast
Up the contrast to 6

Last step: goes to the base and duplicate it once more. Drag the duplicate layer above the sharpened one.
Then: Filter >> Blur >> Gaussian Blur
radius 1,6pixel
Lower the opacity of this layer to something between 6 and 10%

the final result should be something like

and you're done ;)

Hope it was useful ^^
