Fuckin' Steve Perry. Journey freaking RULES.

Sitting here, wishing I was allowed to smoke indoors in a public place in California, I recall my trip to Vegas...

We knew it was a holiday weekend (President's Day, what a holiday) and we knew there would be traffic. We decided on a departure time of 7pm. We thought it was reasonable. We thought ( Read more... )

Dude, you are instantly a thousand times now that I discovered you're down with the rock stylings of Journey.

I saw that Behind the Music, too, I espescialy liked the breif clip of an interview with Ainsley Dunbar. Ainsley Dunbar used to drum for Frank Zappa, but then went to.....JOURNEY!?!?! I always find it funny when Zappa bandmembers leave his group for far-shittier bands.

Ainsley Dunbar left his band to go to Journey.
Warren Cuccarulo left his band to go to Duran Duran.
Steve Vai left his band to go to Whitesnake.
Ian Underwood left his band to play for Barbra Streisand.

Silly ex-Zappa bandmembers.

Oh, my friend, the famous Mickey, AKA TMBGCAT from LiveJournal, lives in the general area of Steve Perry. He saw him at the deli once. I'm surprised he wasn't working there.

Wow, sounds like an arduous journey. But you finally made it. And wow, fun must have had to run and hide from you, 'cause it sounds like you were ready to track it all down. ;)

Hmmm. Getting wasted and then eating lots of breakfast? I've never been much of a drinker, but it sounds like it could be trouble. I hope there wasn't a lot of unpleasantness that followed that.

You should have come and picked me up. The rest of my life sucks, but when it comes to vegas, the gods don't interfere. I would have made sure that everyone went off without a hitch, beginning with eating somewhere other than Del Taco. : )
