It WAS scary...but I'm so grateful it wasn't something worse. It sounds really cliche, but it's amazing how easy it is to take your health for granted.

Wish I did have it... especially since I know I have cancer (ok, only 95% sure, but if not cancer... umm... well, whatever it is... it's definitely something) and I really want to get it checked out... CURED even.
It's funny, I had health insurance all the time up until this year and jsut slacked.
Now, if I get it again (probably not until around the end of the year, but I will) I will immediately get a full checkup.
However, no matter how much we NEED health insurance... there is no way I can afford it without a job paying for it. And so I will not get it until then. And if something very bad happens... I will go to the hospital, get treated, and then duck out on the bill.
Like I did at Burning Man (and I even HAD health insurance there, but HI doesn't pay squat for LifeFlight).
