Happy New Year from Amsterdam!
I'm in an internet cafe reading livejournal because I'm too high to try and conduct any more transactions for awhile. It's freezing, too. But this place, besides the "perks", really does rule. Beautiful. Simply beautiful and amazing and exciting. Really. I know, it's so cliche.

Ack! If you get this before you leave, make sure to check out Benjamin Fallafel. It is the *best* fallafel i have ever had. I spent 4 days there in 2000 and closed the book on the demon weed for myself. What a place to make a last stand. My favorite was White Widow, but they all do the trick. And of course, hit the Van Gogh museum.
