Seriously thinking about transferring. The only thing that's keeping me here is Madrigals. All of my friends, I know I'd keep in touch with, so that's no biggie. I certainly don't need to be paying so much damned money to be unhappy. I can do that for free at home - or even get paid for it by working. What the hell is a degree in vocal ( Read more... )

just having a hard time with Justin in voice lessons... he's made me cry the last 3 times I've had a lesson with him. And, Kathy Feather e-mailed me today saying that Educ. 375 (the tech for teachers), a course that I dropped, is still on my transcript. I can either take the F, do the coursework by December, or pay $50 to receive the W. I just am pissed with the registrar... I dropped the course on the 3RD day of class because I decided to take it at a later time!! But, now I don't even have to take it because I switched majors. Just a bunch of bullshit. I'm going tomorrow to yell at them - I know I'll still have to pay the $50, but I really want them to know that I am pissed! The other thing is that I'm having problems figuring out what I have to/want to take next semester. It's annoying - and Justin, my advisor as well, is CLUELESS. Ugh. That's it. Don't worry!

hey :( how many years have you put in though? And how close are you to graduating? What I was thinking of, is once you're done with your degree and you think you studied the wrong thing, get a masters degree doing something you would rather do, rather than stop and give up all that you've built up. Do you know what I"m trying to say? I took a lot of cough medicine today and left because I was really confused and dizzy, so I might not be making any sense.

I've put in too much time and money to even REALLY consider transferring or dropping. And the masters thing is a good idea... I just don't know what I want to do other than perform. But, thank you, so much - it made me stop and think rather than just stay angry.
