The over exaggeration was the whole purpose of the show. They did it to scare kids into not drinking and driving, taking caffeine pills, smoking pot. And in my case, I think it worked.
Last night's episode was most definitely a classic. Props to the writers for setting up that scene using a most ridiculous set of circumstances. Um, wearing a Spider Man mask in the rain does what exactly? Keep Seth's Jew-fro from exploding? And who goes up on the roof to fix the satellite?? What was he going to do exactly, kick it?
But as little sense as all of that made, and as cheeeeeeeesy as it was, the kiss made all of it worthwhile.
Yeah, I knew something was up when he showed up to Summer's house with it on, explaining that it was the only thing to keep his head dry. And the Cohens are so rich, they could pay someone to go up on the roof for them at any time of the night. I guess desperate times, when you need to set up a scene, call for desperate measures.
oh and in a weird unrelated note, we learned about pleurisy today in class.
What I learned was that you get like a stabbing pain that is more marked on exertion, like climbing up stairs and stuff when you have pleurisy. The best way to diagnose this is to listen to the sound of your lungs with a stethoscope--usually there would be no sound, but with pleurisy, it should sound sort of rough, like scratchy sand paper almost. If there's a little inflammation, maybe you have pleuritis or something. At this point, you would probably be better off with the WebMD, rather than me, because I don't remember any thing I learned past last Tuesday.
lmao at the SBTB episodes. i said the exact same thing last night. and 100% agreed about the top 3 eps. The one where Becky dies and the Zack Attack ep round out the top 5
Now see this is where we diverge. I like the "Zack and Kelly Prom" one and the Palm Springs 2 parter, where Jessie's Dad marries the aerobics instructor. I also like the one with her stepbrother from NY, for whom Lisa unwittingly falls. The one where Becky dies is a good one though. Any episode where Screech dresses up like a woman (Sinead O'Connor the cleaning woman and Barbara Bush the new student) is good, too. And buddy bands, who can forget those?
ooh, Palm Springs was a good one. I'm not a big fan of stepbrother one though. i completely forgot about another one of my favorites -- the one where they go to the Attic with their fake IDs and catch Jeff with another girl. Classic. do you have the DVDs? it's amazing how much I still laugh at them.

I do have the DVDS--I don't really watch them that much because I'm memorized the plots of every one, but it's good to have around for a rainy day.
