Why do I always end up neglecting the blog!?

I want to blame it on the fact that this is my "secondary" blog, where I'm a little more anonymous and haven't really told most people about.  The primary blog is the one my family knows about, where I am supposed to write about travels, and exciting things, and my house.  But I can't really cite that excuse, because I haven't updated that one

It's never too late to try and mend broken bridges.

I will be the first to admit that I'm not the best at keeping in touch with far away friends. Sometimes I will go months without communicating with the two women who are still the best friends I have. I get annoyed at them because it always feels like I am the one reaching out to them. Very rare are the occasions that they will initiate contact. However, when I do kick myself enough and pick up the phone to call one of them, we inevitably spend at least an hour on the phone catching up. They do not blame me for living my life and are always happy to hear from me.

Would contacting her to see if she's in a different place now help the 'what if's? Or at least help them progress to a new place?
