same reason i always get kicked out. management finds out i've been living there illegally & they throw a fit. so now i have to go crash on someone's couch for 3 months til i finally get a leased signed in the summer -_-

It's a two bedroom apartment, right? Why can't they just add your name to the lease (or add you as a subleaser) and be done with it. Grrr. My personal belief is that if the rent money is coming in and nothing illegal (drug parties, etc) is going on, live and let die dammit.

Why do apartment managers have to be such assholes?
