I have a friend who's favorite pairing is Sasugaa because it's 'hot emo love', but I agree with you. Sasuke and Gaara need some sun in their life, not some more madness and hatred. Gaara and Lee, because they contrast perfectly! Sasuke and Naruto because that's just adorable. Question: Why do people believe that Gaara is the uke?

SasuGaa is a big no-no with me.

I really like a Seme Gaara, REALLY. It's awesome that way, especially when Lee is the uke (it makes Lee seem cuter than he is ^^;)

SasuNaru was my first introduction to yaoi, but one day I was reading a SasuNaru fiction with the side pairing of Gaalee and all of a sudden, after about four chapters, I was more engrossed in the Gaalee snipets than the whole actual fiction of SasuNaru! I was like, "yeah, I love them." Lol!

I can't remember the first naruto yaoi pairing I came across or the first time I came across a gaalee pairing. But it is a freaking awesome couple. A seme Gaara is a very hot, very possesive Gaara and that is just great by me. Lee may be older and taller, but he has the softer heart is definitely uke material. I love it dearly.
