*hugs* parents are dumb. They always assume that you will fuck up, and when you do, they say, "see, we told you you would screw it all up." It's like a self-fulfilling prophecy. Perhaps, if they had some faith in us, we could be normal people who make mistakes but get to learn from them instead of having to apologize for breathing.
Anyway, the point is, it's ok to fuck up... even if your parents freak out. They have fucked up, too, they just won't admit to it.
