Apparently the problem behind RRoD's has been located and solved (seems that one of the subcontractors making them used solder that melts under lower tempratures than the 360 can generate), so at least no more RRoDs (or at least fewer, apparently.) Did you towel the 2nd 360 so that at least you could get a repair from microsoft?

As well, Dead Rising is love. Aside from the rather long loading times, that is. Once the system update that allows you to copy games to the HD is out, I think I'll try Infinity mode again. Hopefully copying the whole damn thing to the HD will speed up loading (not to mention save the DVD drive. As it turns out, I've gotten a couple of isolated game crashes at random moments. Hard crashes, too - I can't even bring up the damn dashboard. Ah well...

Yeah, I feel about the same way about Mega Man 9 as well - it relies too much on cheap traps and such. The new Bionic Commando was surprisingly good, though.

I don't know what the deal with the 360 is. There are the chips in the newer models, but mine was made in June (same with the new 60 GBHDD Pro Model) and it still red ringed? Hmmmmmmm

Also, other then the game crashing on Dead Rising, the arcade model loaded A LOT faster then the Pro did on that game.

And I just traded my system in at Best Buy each time it was acting up, the Customer Service girls were like "WTF?" when they saw me a 2nd time, haha.
