Not icons, but still fun.
Because I feel like humilating myself, I'm going to do an icon time line of myself...from the beginning to now, lol. This is gonna be fun.
These are some of the very first icons I did. I have scores of horrible icons like these, I mean I have no idea where to start.
-Overuse of textures
-Unoriginal and horrible cropping
-Horrible coloring
-Unoriginal text
-Bad fonts
and the scary thing is, these weren't that long ago. Some of them are as recent as December/January...scarry indeed.
-The coloring still sucks and the image quality isn't much better.
-The cropping is a little better but not much
-My text still freakin' sucks!
These are some of the more recent icons I've made and most of them are decent.
-The cropping still needs a lot of work.
-My text has improved but I still need to work on that too.
-My coloring is probably the area in which I consider myself "most improved." I love my uses of color in some places.
And this is the most recent icon I've made.
The reason I consider this one of my best icons to date is:
-The images are blended into the icon without the use of a frame which is something I've been practicing
-The text isn't black or white, it's a clolor from the icon
-The cropping is probably (as shameful as it is) the best cropping I've seen myself do
-The image is sharp and clear without the areas of digustingness seen in my last icon post.
