There was a bookshop called Fantasy Island on Holloway Road in London. It was a second hand book dealer who dealt only with Fantasy and Sci-Fi and Horror books. Wow, I'm sad to hear that shop has closed. It was awesome! I'm glad i got to see it..

Is there a way to find out what happened to it?

I have to go to a shop just up the road from it tomorrow after work, so I plan to pop into a shop next door to where Fantasy Island used to be and ask if they know why it closed down.

Last week I went into the shop next door and asked about it. Apparently that guy and his business partner had been running the shop for about 50 years! And so decided they'd had enough and decided it was time to close up and retire. I'm sad the shop's gone, but at least it's a good ending for the two guys who get to chill out and enjoy their retirement.
