My main problem with them was all the shitty pieces they were doing on local bands that were not only poorly written, but also implied many falsities...such as Decibully having a "wooden saw" (seriously?) and using the word "cute" a record 14 times in one 2-page article regarding sleep tight co. How do things like that make a positive contribution to the view of Milwaukee's music community exactly?
(of course, my own personal experience of being made out to be a spitting trucker is another story)
