Okay. Is Brini Maxwell a drag queen and/or is The Brini Maxwell Show a joke? This may seem like something I would like but it's freaking me the hell out.

She IS a drag queen, and yes, the show is tongue in cheek.

When I first saw it, I to was amused and confused (heh) until I read somewhere that Brini is actually a Brad.

I was curious on the drag question as well and did watch it once...oddly sureal which is saying something for me! Anyhow, I guess it's good the traditional homemaker drag queens have a timeslot on tv now although I don't need to see it again! ;>

I admit, for that hour it was on, I couldn't look away. But it's not going to be a 'Season Pass' on the Tivo anytime soon.

Hee. I don't make a point to watch, but when I pass that channel and it's on... I'm all over it. It's kinda like a train wreck... you can't not watch. Heh.

Love Brini... s/he rocks.

you know, monika and i have had this same conversation. i seem to remember thinking that she is a drag queen, but that the show is for real. but i could be convinced to change my mind on either point. ;-) that's so funny that you bring this up, though - i remember thinking of you when we were watching it!
