That gig sounds amazing! I'd heard she wasn't that great live and was prone to hitting bum notes (like the videos you mentioned), but your experience of her sounds just great. I'm jealous! :)

See, even if she HAD hit bum notes... I wouldn't have cared. The videos I'd seen included some New Year's Eve gig from a few months ago, but I swear, her voice was just perfect in Chicago. I was floored. I couldn't believe the power she had over her voice, and she was engaging and fun to watch!

LOL. I'm in no less than three hotel reward programs - although, to be fair, two just earn miles. As much as you go to Chicago, you should totes at least sign up for hotels.com - after your tenth stay somewhere, you earn a free night. I think the value of it is like the average of your other ten nights or something. W/E, IT'S A GOOD DEAL.
