I chose this because it's not to revealing, but will still keep you cool in the heat. I don't go to the beach very often, seeing as that I live in the desert (Las Vegas)...but if I did go all the time, my outfits would look something like that.
EDIT: Yea, I would wear in front of my mother. Just for the simple fact that it's not skimpy.
