Wow. Well said. I'm busting out laughing right now reading that.

"and being born in the United States of America makes you a minority." hahahha. you crack me up.

We have a few like that that work in the dining hall where i always eat. I just smile at him and point at what I want, rather than saying it, because he doesn't understand anyways. And when you're next in line, he says, "yes, please?" instead of "can I help you" or something else that a normal educated english-speaking person would say.

Did that sound prejudice? Not at all. But really, I'm not prejudice, but I for SURE agree with the speak english in the US thing.

Well said Enrique, well said.

hey ryan...it's amber. haven't talked to you in well...forever :( anyways, your live journal cracks me up. "being in america does make you a minority" lol. that's hilarious. It reminds me of my econ teacher who doesn't speak english. It's just great going there at 9:00 in the morning to listen to someone speak japanese to you in AMERICA. so yeah, i've only gone to that class 6 times so far, and its a class i'm supposed to be at every morning. So I know what it's like to have to sit and listen to someone talk in their "native tongue" i believe you put it...i feel for ya! haha ;)
