I'd love to know how to make Stir fried Shu Gu with pork! *DROOLS* Looks absolutely delicious. :)

Well, if you remember the basics with the bell pepper chicken recipe, you'll have no trouble with this one. Arrowroot bulbs are usually only available during the winter, but who knows what you might find in an Asian market? X3

6 arrowroot bulbs, peeled and sliced 1/4" thick
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp cooking oil
1/2 lb pork loin, thinly sliced
2 stalks welsh onions, green part cut into 2 cm length pieces, white parts finely chopped
dash of oyster sauce (if you don't have this, worcestershire or soy sauce will do)
Salt and pepper to taste

Heat oil in a pan or work, quickly brown garlic, then brown pork until done. Add in a couple dashes oyster sauce, salt, pepper, and 1/4 cup water. Throw in welsh onion greens and cover, simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, sprinkle chopped welsh onion and pepper, serve over rice.

also, instead of 1/2 lb, make it a full lb of pork ^^;

addendum: add arrowroot slices after browning the pork.

I was scrolling through, when I came to this entry... as I hit this entry, my mate's cooking smell wafted to me at the computer... for about five seconds, I was frantically wondering how you posted the scents onto your LJ...
