I have troubles dealing with "holes" too. And I've knit a fair amount of lace. I think the holiness of what you have looks good. I don't think I would do it any tighter.

LOL, Yeah I read your post today :)

I'm all good with the holes that you make on purpose with yo's and stuff but that big loopy knitting is what has had me avoiding working with lace weight. I love having the excuse now. Ok, I'm going to keep going and see what happens.
