Birthday's a moot point on my end, dude. I'd say change it to when I woke up again but I got no idea what date that is.

Castiel is working, but he hasn't forgotten. So there is a gift wrapped box on the bedside table with a card that reads 'Beloved, Wishing you a happy birthday and I hope this reminds you of happier times in colder places. Castiel.'

He reads the card and there just might have been an 'awww' that got out -- not that he'll ever let anyone know that. Except maybe Castiel. Then he unwraps the box and smiles -- it's gorgeous, and he actually recognizes what it is. "Thanks, Cas," he breathes, wondering if the anti-location spell on his ribs also keeps Castiel from being able to hear him. Hopefully it doesn't, because he wants his angel to know he's thinking about him.
