I can kind of relate to how things are with you being home. It's really weird being at a new school where I'm older than everyone that I'm taking classes with. I can feel the age difference all the time and I miss my friends back at Eastern, you included. Things get weird when you're not around your friends I guess.
&&don't lose hope about things "not working out". If it's meant to be, then it will work out, and that's what you should be okay with. Be positive, rather than being okay with the potential of something not working out. I think that with a relationship, you should never make excuses for your emotions or settle for something less than being happy. If you both make eachother happy, it should and hopefully will work out.
Kyle and I have very little in common. While we keep each other company and enjoy the time spent together, we both know that what we are/we have is not permanent or long term. For the time being we're just happy to keep the other from being lonely. We're both at a crossroads, desperately searching for some meaning and how we got to where we are. And that is why I am content with knowing it won't work out. He's a great guy and very sweet, but there is another girl who will make him much happier than I ever could. I wish I could explain it better to you.
