the meteoroid is a stone that's devoid of the fire that propelled it to thee

I've been listening to the Joanna Newsom song, "Emily," today for a while. I haven't gotten to the rest of the album yet, but I love this song. I'm having mixed feelings with her vocal style, but the harp and orchestral arrangement (by Van Dyke Parks) is second only to her words. ( I love this passage )

God that album is amazing. I've been listening to it a lot lately. Listen to the last song on the album... it's my favorite now.

Also, have you heard of TV on the Radio?

I have not heard TV on the Radio yet. But I listed to Cosmia. That song is amazing. I can't tell if Joanna Newsom is that amazing yet since she did not do the orchestral composition, but her working with Van Dyke Parks is amazing. I am loving everything about this album.

But Stephen. You should make me a mix. There's so much music I need to be exposed to. I had a list of artists I want to hear more of, but I lost it. All I remember from it is My Bloody Valentine, The Knife, New Pornographers, Jesus and Mary Chain, Band of Horses, and The Guillemots. If you have anything good by those that would be much appreciated.
