I am now the proud owner of a WACK-OFF Intuos 3 6x8 tablet.

BTW, this better be worth it.

Oh yeah and MAYA is a bitch to learn >.>

Yeah... Maya is a bitch to learn, but once you get it down, you'll be rocking the casbah. I prefer to work in more abstract forms, so Bryce works just fine for me :)For my spacescapes, I use Mojoworld v3.1

Good times all around.

tell me about it, but it does sooo much stuff that it's like a given that it must be learned.

Maya? You doing something with 3D? All I know is that's what a lot of SL avatar creators use. If you can create avatars, then you can make hella bank. *nods*

That thought never occurred to me! The only reason I picked up Maya and ZBrush was to make models I could pose and look at from any angle for drawing purposes, also to make mock ups of fursuits.

I don't think I will ever get back into the whole payed commissions thing I did that when I was young and it really sucked dealing with creeps and weirdos and their sick fetishes. This is more for personal growth and expression.

3D has really come a long way and it's to the point now where it's a bonafide art form and has aesthetics to it that are starting to exceed more traditional mediums.
