Hey folks.
Long time, no update, I know.
But I have some exciting news.
Dawn and I got engaged on Saturday night!
It was completely unexpected actually. We were out for our anniversary dinner, both not expecting to get engaged when the conversation took an unexpected turn and the question ended up being asked and answered.
So, all of a sudden we found ourselves engaged :)
It's all early days yet, of course. We've spent the past few days trying to sort out a ring, so we didn't tell people straight away.
We looked at some rings on Sunday and online, but we went to a Ring Manufacturer colleague of my Dad's (Dad is a jeweller and watchmaker, but he's sort of semi-retired, so he doesn't keep any stock any more) and Dawn found herself immediately attached to one of them.
