No meat thermometer. The only meat I've ever cooked before is chicken breast and ground beef. I was told to pretty much just cook the turkey until the wings looked like they might fall off. When I took it out of the oven the timer hadn't popped on it, but I poked the bird with a fork in a few places and the wing totally just came right off so I decided it was done. After I let it rest for about 20 minutes on the counter the timer had popped too.
Thankfully I only have a few things to grab at the store for thanksgiving, but come Wednesday when I go over to the deli I'm sure our fridge will be packed too.
