I love the expression on her face in the picture with the blue blankie. It's almost like she is saying going ahead touch my blankie see what happens. I dare you. And like I said before my older daughter loves herself a giant penguin. Guen is only a week old so I need to give it some time before she picks something. She also needs some stuff of her own, the poor thing has like two onsies to call her own. Everything else is handme downs.

So sweet! Micah grew attached to one of those little Carter's animal teether-blankets (animal head, tiny blanket body) when he was a baby and we had to run out and buy a second. As he got older he transferred his affection to a blanket my SIL crocheted him. His great-grandma crocheted him a smaller version to carry around with tripping over, and then we asked her to do a second one for when one is missing or in the wash. I shouldn't be surprised... I still have my own "blankie" in a box in our garage. I slept with it until I was in high school (well, not like when I was away from home or anything...) :P

I absolutely adore photos of Daphne. She has the most expressive eyes for a baby. :)
