My Ergo came today!! I LOVE it! It fits great with plenty of slack still left over. I tried it out with Daphne first since she was awake and she seemed to like it. I got her into a front hold easy peasy and into a back hold after two tries. I tried Colton out too after he woke up from his nap. Front hold and back hold were a snap with him... ( Read more... )

very nice!
is it simple for one person to put the baby in a rear carry in the Ergo? i'm looking to get one if it has that ease of use.

I got both kids onto my back on my own. I struggled a little bit with Daphne, but it was doable. Colton was easier since he's a lot "thicker" and more sturdy. It really helped that I had watched videos of it being done before I attempted it myself. The first time or two I felt unsure of their positioning, but looking in a mirror I could see that they were in nice and snug...I was just being a nervous mom.

thanks for sharing that.
after some consideration and reading the website, i went ahead and bought one too! i have a Bjorn but the last time i put Marisol in it, we walked for an hour and my back and hips were shredded! i used to be able to go for longer than that with her in it but now that she's bigger and heavier it doesn't work out so great. i read in the site that the ergo distributes the weight better on the parent and also causes less spinal compression for the baby. this will be my 3rd carrier that i get, i hope it's the last one i buy!
