I'm on my way to work a 5:56 this morning, groggy, and cold. Tom petty's "Chasing Down a Dream" is on. Everything this is fine, then BLAM!! A fucking deer out of nowhere. I hit it. The deer did a 360 cartwheel (which would be funny if this wasn't real life) and landed somewhere unknown (presumed ok and alive). I didn't even get to break. My only ( Read more... )

that's similar to my deer-smashin' experience. in my case, however, the GMC didn't deserve police/insurance notification, or fixing.

oh, and hte other thing: out here, deer terrify me, because they pop out of the rows of grapes, so they have extra hiding places.

i sort of hope i hit a deer with the subaru, actually, because i really want the front of my car repainted due to subaru's cheap-ass super-chipped up paint job.

I agree with you about the deer thing, I have almost hit some but I always manage not to. Theres hardly EVER dead deer laying around here, and lately ive seen a bunch so I am totally terrified of hitting on. I would probably have a heart attack, and promptly die.
