Gillian's stomach growls as her and Cal walk through downtown London.

"Can we stop for lunch?" Cal nods.

"Sure what are you hungry for?"

"Whatever."

"Then I've got just the place." Cal takes Gillian's hand and leads her to the market a few blocks away to a fish stand that was making fresh fish and chips. He orders one for Gillian, laughing as her stomach grumbles at the smell of all of the market food. He hands her the paper boat a few minutes later and thanks the cook before walking to one a few stands down, getting some Indian food for himself.

"How's the fish?"

"Amazing…" Gillian moans as she takes another bite. Cal laughs and takes Gillian over to the fountain sitting down with her.

"What do you think about jetting through the Chunnel tomorrow to France and head into Paris?" Gillian pauses in licking her fingers, looking at Cal with wide eyes.

"Really?" Cal nods and smiles.

"Yeah." Gillian nods and smiles.

"Okay, that sounds great." Gillian leans over and kisses Cal softly.

"Thank you."

"For what love?"

"Everything?" Gillian shrugs and smiles slightly.

"Anything and everything." Cal leans over and kisses Gillian.

"Well you're welcome." Cal smiles and kisses Gillian's head softly, pulling away with a groan as his phone rings. He digs it out of his pocket before looking at the display.

"It's Em…" He opens the phone and starts to talk to his daughter as Gillian finishes eating before leaning into his chest and sighing happily as she takes in the scenery around them. Cal hangs up a bit later and looks down at Gillian.

"How about we take the long way back?" Gillian nods and gets up, taking Cal's hand as she starts walking again. Gillian looks around as they walk back, occasionally dragging Cal into a shop as she picks up various knick knacks along the way. She spots an upscale baby shop and nods towards it before walking in with Cal. She takes a deep breath and grins softly.

"You know how long I've wanted to smell that smell?"

"What? Baby powder and vomit?"

"No just…that baby smell…" Gillian shakes her head before starting to walk around the store. She ends up picking up baby blankets and a couple outfits for each of the twins before paying and thanking the clerk as she hands her the bag. Gillian finds Cal standing by the door.

"Ready?" Cal nods and opens the door for Gillian before following her out. He takes the bag from her and carries it as they walk in silence. She looks up at Cal after a few blocks and licks her bottom lip.

"I was thinking about dying my hair."

"You were?"

"Well I am…I think the blonde's getting a bit…blah…what do you think?" Cal shrugs.

"Whatever you want love." Cal looks down at Gillian and smiles.

"Whatever you want." Gillian nods slightly.

"Okay."

---

"Come on love, I'm taking you out for dinner." Gillian arches her eyebrow as she walks out of the bathroom, towel drying her hair.

"You're taking me out for dinner?" Cal nods.

"A nice one. So wear that dress you got today." Gillian gives Cal a look.

"Cal…"

"What?" Cal steps closer to Gillian and kisses her softly.

"Just a couple hours love. I just want to show you off." Gillian pulls away and looks at Cal again.

"We're meeting people there aren't we?" Cal rolls his eyes and looks down.

"My aunt and uncle want to take us out."

"You actually want me to meet a member of your family that's not your daughter?" Cal looks at Gillian and arches his eyebrow.

"You're surprised?" Gillian shakes her head and kisses Cal.

"Give me a bit to get ready, and then we can go." Cal nods and smiles as Gillian turns around and escapes back into the bathroom. Cal gets changed into a black suit and makes a face as he puts on his tie, turning around as the bathroom door opens and Gillian comes out in her dress.

"Is this okay?" Cal nods slowly as he looks at Gillian in her dress. The short black dress hugged her in all of the right places before wrapping around her neck with thin halter straps. Gillian sits down and slips on a pair of strappy black heels before standing back up and smiling at Cal.

"Ready?" Cal nods and takes Gillian's hand in his before walking downstairs with her.

"Where are we eating at?"

"Gordon Ramsay's restaurant."

"Sounds yummy." Gillian smiles as she gets into the cab that Cal had flagged down for them.

"So your aunt and uncle, what are their names?"

"My aunt's name is Jessica and my uncle's name is Robert."

"Lightman?" Cal nods.

"Yeah, it's my dad's brother and his wife." Gillian nods and kisses Cal before getting out of the cab when it stops. She smiles to herself as he pays the cabbie before wrapping an arm around her waist and taking her inside. Gillian looks around the bright restaurant as Cal talks to the maitre d'.

"I have an eight o clock reservation for Lightman."

"Yes, Mr. Lightman, the rest of your party is waiting, please follow your waiter." Cal nods and takes Gillian's hand leading her along with them. The waiter shows them the table before excusing himself. Cal smiles and hugs his aunt and his uncle before introducing Gillian to them.

"Cal, I had no idea she was pregnant." Cal nods and smiles reassuringly at Gillian.

"Yep, just a few more months left. Boy and a girl."

"Twins? Well, your mother would be so proud of you." Cal nods, a slight look of sadness overcoming his face at the mention of his mother.

"Why don't we sit down? I'm sure Gillian doesn't want to stand in those shoes all night." Cal nods and pulls out Gillian's chair before sitting down next to her and handing her a menu.

"Thanks." Cal nods and smiles at Gillian before looking at his own menu. Gillian looks over the menu, quickly pulling out the dishes that sounded good to her before closing her menu and setting it on the table.

"Already decided love?" Gillian nods and grins.

"Yeah, I've been starving since lunch." Jessica laughs and Cal grins, reaching over and rubbing Gillian's belly. The four of the group make small talk as they wait for the waiter. Gillian looks up as he comes to stand beside their table looking down at her. Gillian bites her bottom lip before ordering.

"Can I get the pan fried sea scallops, the aged Casterbridge filet…and can I get a couple bone marrow bones on the side?" The waiter nods and marks down the extra note before looking back at Gillian.

"And for dessert, madam?"

"Um, I think Cal and I will split the caramelized tarte Tatin." Gillian looks at Cal for confirmation before smiling as he nods.

"Any thing to drink?"

"Ermitage ‘cuvée Cathelin’, domaine Jean-Louis Chave, the 1998 bottle please." The waiter nods and writes the bottle down before moving around the table. Cal looks at Gillian.

"You can't drink."

"One glass isn't going to hurt, I asked before we left." Gillian kisses Cal before taking a sip of her water. Cal kisses Gillian's head and smiles softly.

"You speak French beautifully."

"Thanks…Turns out I did learn something useful in high school and college." Gillian kisses Cal back and whispers softly in his ear in French.
