I want to know what drives people. What drives people to accomplish things. Honestly, I'm not motivated. Why am I even doing this? To get good grades, to have a few good times with friends, to get a job, and end up in a nursing home when I'm old and rotting away? God. I'm not happy, honestly who the hell is? I don't think I know a single person

i look at my father.... how unhappy he is in rehab. i look at his life working in construction, how uneducated he is and it drives me to do well. it took me until now to see that i dont want to end up like that. he's unhappy and he has to worry about money so much.

i don't want that. i want to live comfortably

Yeah, I think most people do. But I don't think I know many people that can live comfortably at all.

I hear your pain... Motivation is hard to come by, maybe you need a get-a-way to moose country or someplace more fun. ;) hang in there, it only gets harder (i know)
