I thoroughly enjoyed this, Rocky. I like the way you've situated Tuvok in the reboot universe: he fits perfectly, as does Chakotay, yet they are both clearly their canon selves. As always, you understand exactly the political nuances of these military and quasi-military situations. I find each character's comments and motivations very believable ("logical," one might say /g/). And I love the perfect touches of deadpan Tuvok humor -- Barring any unforeseen circumstances, of course, which would result in a major reduction of an individual's lifespan.

Thanks! I am in the midst of working on a sequel, but it sort of took a back seat to all the RL happenings around here. Hopefully I will get back into it shortly.
