Watched Trek: Deep Space Nine

I had a great weekend. First, I got an extra day off and some me time. Then, I got Professor Layton and the Curious Village for my DS.

Saturday night, we went to a party at Beth's with hoops and food and fireworks that reminded me how beautiful our friends are.

This morning, I'm feeling sleepy but content.

I haven't had too much going on lately. Work was busy for a few weeks because of the end of the fiscal year, but it's calming down now. I have jury duty next week. I've been in an introspective mood, but I'm not feeling coherent enough about the things I've been thinking about to post about it right now (though I probably will at some point). ( Read more... )

I have been on the move. Thursday night, we had dinner at DePalma's with T. Friday, I went to see Up with christhegeek  and sequiro (it was good, but really sad), then had huge, delicisious desserts at Longhorn. This morning, I got up and went to the Athens Farmer's Market. Eric and I had a great time at Frolicon. We did some gaming (in particular, learning a lot about D&D 4E), went to some fun parties, and most of all enjoyed seeing everybody. It was especially nice to have another occasion to see those people we normally only get to see a couple times a year, and I enjoyed getting a chance to talk to a few people ( Read more... )

I have just arrived in Nashville (to visit my grandfather who is in the hospital for those that didn't know about the trip). I'll be leaving here sometime Sunday to come home.

Actually, both Eric and I are sick. He's had it all week, and is starting to feel a little better. I thought I'd managed to escape, when it hit me like a ton of bricks on Friday. I went from "It's probably just allergies" at 1 p.m. to "I wish I was never born" by 8 p.m. So, we holed up all day yesterday are cancelling D&D for tonight. Hopefully, I' ( Read more... )
