I think he doesn't want to move to Hawaii. So I think the choice is love, or Hawaii.

Me, I'd vote love, but that's because the cold doesn't bother me much. Since I'm not in love, though, I'll probably move.

Personally, I'd go for Hawaii, because you guys will end up together in the long run, even though the first couple months without him would suck ass. I mean, come on - that's a shitton of money you're saving just having that plane ticket taken care of.

But that having been said (and I know this is not helpful), you've gotta do what feels right for you.

Ummm, you left out one other choice-point. Is is ethical for you to take advantage of Armyboy's offer if you reasonably expect HE's hoping to get some action ... but YOU reasonally expect he will not get it?

What is the balance between "the goodness of his heart" .... and the lust in his heart? What is in your heart, if you should take Armyboy up on his offer under false pretenses?

Normally I wouldn't presume to give you advice on something like this since I don't know you very well, but since you asked heres my take

i actually have more than two days to decide... my flight doesn't leave until the 9th. and he only paid $10 for it, so he's not out much if i decide not to go.

and as far as murphy's law situations, my cousin's best friend is on hthe same island, and i plan on bringing enough cash on me for an interisland flight to my family... so. in case of emergency, i have someone a phone call away on in the city, and i have family that's the next island over.

pretty much i'm probably going. just a matter of if i'm coming back.
