At work at the school board today (as opposed to night school, which I work as well), I was working on some ESL classes from last year.   The classes are long past, and the information from them hasn’t been recorded on the database, nor sent to the government for money.  I had (and still have) piles of information on various classes that contained ( Read more... )

I definitely found it interesting because it's a large part of what I do at work myself, the kind of work where I get info from different places and try and use it to make sense of all theincomplete info I have. I've always described it as detective work too XD

I think finding meaning/interest in a really boring task is a good skill.

Sometimes I make up games/stories to make filing at work more interesting... Like last week I pretended that every person I couldn't find a chart for would be trapped in some weird dimension for the next five years... It's a lot more motivating that way (although, unfortunately I lost interest about half way through, so a large number of people won't be seeing earth for a while, apparently).
