so, yesterday, all of a sudden i opened Internet Explorer and the URL bar was gone...i mean, gone. and i can't copy and paste URL's for websites or ANYTHING. it just disappeared! i don't understand...

Although your problem is fixed easily enough, the best possible solution is to download Mozilla Firefox. It looks basically the same as IE, but is much more secure and all around better :)

thanks...but is there anyway i can get the URL thing back before i download that?

Well the first thing to try is to right click on gray area near the top of the IE browser window. See if "Address bar" is checked(checkmarked) in the thing that comes up. If it is not, just click it and the address bar will come back. If that isn't the problem, I may have to look at it or guess something else.
