I bought a new camera for Christmas, and I went out at dawn this morning to take some pictures with it (there's some great outdoor light within the hour after sunrise--I am not a crazy person). Just thought I'd share a few! BTW, I had a nice Christmas. Amber got me a "beach scented" candle so I could pretend I'm in Hawaii, and an ever-popular

Nice shots! What kind of deer, do you know? We've got mule deer roaming around town here and they always pose so pretty with their giant ears. ;)

Thank you! I was freezing cold just standing on the shore. I can't imagine sitting on the ice and snow!
