I've been reading this Feynman book, Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman." I always thought it would be more self-aggrandizing than it is, based on the openings to many other books by or about physicists I have read. Today I've got this big Pirate Ship party with work, where they rented a big party barge to go around the Lake in. It should be fun, hopefully it isn't an intolerably rowdy testosterone contest. I went over to the Barton Springs Mall to the Austin Apple Store (more wee than the one in Columbus) and got the Tiger. It seems pretty great, I haven't used the dashboard a whole lot, but Safari is faster and the RSS is as easy as firefox but better ( Read more... )

It's on TV right now, it was kinda weird but I was definitely rooting for Woody Allen's character. The Bogart stuff was a bit over the top for my tastes though. And the love triangle was kinda painful to watch considering my last year ( Read more... )
