Yes, it really is, minus the heart-shaped swing tag because--let's face it--those things aren't worth the beans they stuff em with anymore. Like all good little girls growing up in the late '90s my sister collected Beanie Babies with the fervor of most of the Black Panther leadership, and while I couldn't understand the appeal of 99.8% of her collection, I always thought Tabasco the bull was really cool. So fast forward to my sophomore year in college (yes, that recent) and I get the sudden urge to buy Tabasco on eBay for about 8 bucks (best 8 bucks I ever spent!). And now he's all mine! Oh, and because I ripped the swing tag out of his ear, I got to give him one of my old earrings. Rad!

ahhh, indeed. i too collected beanie babies and the beanie baby cards too (not sure what the point of the cards were)!! good idea with the earring.

The cards were kind of dumb because even though they were cumbersome and got in the way of cuddling with your Beanie Baby at night, they had to be intact or else their eventual "worth" would go right out the window.
