I hate dressing up like a clod

I came across Chat-fu today and it seems awesome. Basically what it does is, it takes any kind of conversation (chat sessions, written ones...usual addabaji) and then transforms it into a comic-strip with retro looking characters. Like, this is a strip made up of a chat session I had yesterday with a friend of mine in Marylin (no, there's no monroeRead more... )

Blog template problem?/ C/C++ book anonymous February 5 2006, 01:04:36 UTC
Somehow, your blog template is messed up, when viewed in my machine. Perhaps you were using hard coded pixel values for the boxes?

C# is not the best way to start of learning about programming. I used to earn my living by teaching people programming (and became a lakhpoti in doing so), and I found the best way is to teach people semantics (what a program means) rather than syntax (how exactly to write it). Anyway, the book I preferred is "Teach yourself C++" by Herbert Schildt (for C++), which has good exercises, and cumulative study questions/problems. Having been through most generations of languages (PASCAL, C, C++, Java, assembly), I found this book better written (without any gimmicks) than most other books.

No..I didn't. I just bought my first ever optical mouse, and its pretty costly in proportion to the roller/tracking-ball ones. Besides, I don't need to scan anything right now ;)

www.ComicStripGenerator.com let's you make over 1,000 different comic layouts (where ChatFU got most of their images even).
