I got this crazy idea from pati_lebu who makes AHEM! quite a lot of image related posts in his Lj. So I though, "Damn, these metal balls (be a good guy) look great in my snaps, I gotta post these". There goes....I took these three pics yesterday at 1:45am while pondering over facts like "Shala, kemne orthographic views akmu kalke?" Things actually turned ( Read more... )

Nightmare = Me drawing :P rajputro February 11 2006, 18:09:44 UTC
Unfortunately CSE once had Mechanical engineering drawing on their course book for a few years. I am one of the poor fellows who had to go through this course :( Let's share my experience :

week 1 : REPEAT
week 2 : REPEAT AGAIN
week 3 : REPEAT ONCE AGAIN

then I figured a way to draw. I took the seat beside my friend khaled. And scribed on the paper only when he asked me to do so. :P It's like draw a parallel bar 7inch long.. :D
And bingo :D B+ finally :P

That course is still in vogue...CSE students still have basic ME drawing (not hardcore like us..cough..cough)..My friends in CSE are too busy chasing chicks (cuz they have an almost equal proportion when it comes to tankibaji) to actually pay attention towards drawing :D I guess no one needs to remember the underdogs :(

The last time I played with metal spheres was with newtons cradle...

I cant read the first line of the title of your physics book. But I did make out ".... Modern Physics."

YEah..heh heh..its "CONCEPT OF MODERN PHYSICS" by Arthur P Beiser. An original edition might cost 40-45$ in USA..but thanks to Nilkhet and the pirated book industry of bd we can buy it for 60 taka (= 0.89 $) !!! Felling like saying "OMG" right?

40-45$ in usa? noo way dude! I found the best offer at Amazon and you book costs $121.78. Most of my books are around that price. But thanks to NYS Board of Ed. we are given the books for the classes and we have to return them after the class terminates. But as soon as I hit college, i'll have to pay for every fricken book.

OMG only $0.89

heh..no wonder people use the Library so little in BD...everyone owns their own pirated editions of the prescribed books...so it means no one is to blame even if you accidentally piss on the pages :D

Yeah, it sure is an OMG factor.Maybe thats why when my sis came to BD last month, she brought a huge list of books and bought nearly all of them for 60$( 24 books), she couldn't find only ONE OF THOSE IN LIST...So she went back home to dallas and bought the book online for 65$ !!!! Only a single freaking book!!! That is what I call "****ED UP"
