I am away from home and in college right now...When I left, I didn't realize what a huge part of me my small town was. I know it now, and will never take that for granted again. All of my family and friends seemed to suddenly realize how much we impacted each other's lives. I live in Arizona, my best friend is going to school in Florida and we talk every week. Another very good friend of mine is away on his mission in Argentina. We write every chance we get. My mom & I are A LOT closer than when I left. I think leaving home actually strengthened the bonds I have with those I love when I expected them to be torn apart.
