Thinking about him and missing him so much tonight. I wanted to look at a picture but I just need to close my eyes and my baby coz Rodney is right there Forever Young. Nine years seems so long yet still hurts so damn bad.

Subject: "Red Balloon"
I'm sorry for your loss. I remember in Elementary School where we had to watch 1956 French film "The Red Balloon." It was in French but you didn't need to speak the language to understand the story. It was about this boy Pascal who saves the life of this red balloon. They become friends. Then when the red balloon "dies" because the bullies threw a rock at the balloon mortally wounding it, Pascal grieves over the death of his friend. The miracle was that all the other balloons around the city heard the boy's grief. They all come to the boy and lift him high above the city for everyone to see. It's one of my favorites that has more meaning to me as an adult than when I saw it as a kid.
