The hand that suddenly settles across Hyukjae’s back nearly sends him into cardiac arrest.

“What the hell, Sungmin!” Hyukjae’s face contorts as he tries to give Sungmin his best hairy eyeball.

“Damn, Hyuk, are you constipated or something?” Shindong asks as he drags the chair away from the table before plopping down on it.

“I’m not constipated,” Hyukjae says turning his nose up in the air as he pretends to be affronted by the whole situation. “There was just this guy -”

Sungmin’s eyes narrow as he peers into Hyukjae’s face. “Do you owe him money or something?”

“No!” Hyukjae vehemently denies, edging away from Sungmin’s suspicious eyebrows. “I don’t owe him money. I don’t even know him.”

“So why were you staring at him?” Leeteuk asks as he slides into the last seat. He accepts his beer with a nod towards Sungmin.

“I wasn’t staring at him,” Hyukjae insists, frowning at Shindong who passes him a tiny glass of water. “Didn’t I ask for a coke
